Better Profit in Adsense Blogging using Country Targeting

I’m back with Part -2 post in Adsense Blogging.
This is the 2nd Insight in Google Adsense Blogging which will drastically increase your earning potential.
After doing the keyword research and selecting a NICHE then the next thing you have to consider is your Target Country. Target country makes a great difference in the pricing of cpc.
I was/am blogging from India and usually the cpc is really low here at India while comparing the same keyword in USA traffic. There are certain keywords that reach $10-$100 cpc in wetern countries but not so in a country like India.
CPC pricing and online Ad pricing is increasing rapidly in India too. So you can see India also a prospected market in the next 1-3 years.
To give you a first hand information I’ll give you a case study:
In 2005 I have done the google adword advertising at a max. Rs.3 or $0.1 CPC in the keyword range “WEB DESIGN”, “WEB HOSTING” . The same keyword, today in 2010, CPC pricing rose to Rs.20 – Rs.30/$.4 – $.6.
So, I realised that the Online Advertising cost in India is increasing sharply, and so the good earning for Blogger and Publisher.
After all, I feel that the target country traffic really affects your Adsense earning.

My experience of Google Adsense Blogging
Google Adsense is the first word or phrase that every new blogger came across on the journey to make money from blogging.
I’m not different at all. I have started the same journey 5 years back as you are today. So, let me write an insight about the google adsense for using in blogging.
The FIRST thing you need to do to earn from google adsense is to do some keyword research and find out the high paying KEYWORDS. Definitely this is what we call NICHE.
In my real life experience the highest Cost per click (CPC) I had received was USD $3.00. It was such a big joy for me that day, because my average cpc rate is $0.01 -0.20 only. Then I have tried to find out why such a big rate for that particular click.
After all, I could smell that it was because of the topic that I have written on that particular page. That was about “TOURIST SPOT”, “HOLIDAY RESORT”, “FIVE STAR HOTELS”. Generally other pages were about Home based business.
From this experience I came to know that HIGH PAYING KEYWORD play an important role in making money from Adsense Blogging.
So, everyone! don’t forget to do keyword research if you are really serious about adsense blogging.
